Box Silly Scotch Barrel Aged 2024 – Sauvignon

Since 2012, Brasserie de Silly has released limited editions of Silly Scotch matured in oak barrels. Each year, the flavors are different thanks to the acquisition of old barrels used to age Silly Scotch Barrel Aged: previous editions have included Bordeaux, Port, Cognac, Jack Daniel’s, and Nuits-Saint-Georges. The 2024 edition is aged in Sauvignon Blanc barrels. The aging process lasts 4 months, giving Silly Scotch more aromas and a higher alcohol content. The 2024 edition is limited to 20,000 bottles of 75 cl. Brewed from the classic Silly Scotch, this beer undergoes an additional production step: aging in oak barrels that previously held Sauvignon Blanc wine.
